Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run your game. Specifically:

• Account data — your email, name, password hash, and preferred language.
• Game data — your game's reveal date, baby name(s), guest list, predictions, wishes, and (if you upload it) the baby photo you choose to share with guests.
• Operational data — request logs with a correlation ID, rate-limiting counters, and error reports. We do not run third-party trackers or ad pixels.

How we use it

Your email is used to deliver verification, invitations, reveal countdowns, and the emails you explicitly opt into. Payment details go directly to Stripe; we never see your card number. Your game content is shown only to the guests you invite.

When we share

We don't sell your data. We share with Stripe only to process payments and with our email infrastructure only to deliver messages you triggered. We disclose data to law enforcement only when compelled by valid legal process.

How long we keep it

Your account and games are retained until you delete them. Backups are rotated on a 30-day cycle. Deleted games are purged within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. RevealJoy honours these rights for every user globally:

• Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Delete your account and associated games at any time.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Object to any processing that isn't strictly necessary to run the service.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your language. We do not use marketing or tracking cookies.
